After using AQUA PLUS, tap water becomes as healthy, crisp, clear and tasty as drinking water should be. And therefore also the coffee, tea and the vegetables cooked with AQUA PLUS filtered water are more delicious and tasty than ever!

The filter cartridge contains a mixture of ion exchanger and activated carbon, treated with silver. The ion exchanger is a special resin with charged particles (ion). These ions are substituted for certain harmful or undesirable ions in tap water.

Activated carbon is prepared by heating up an organic material (such as wood, nutshells, etc.), which has been soaked in a certain solution, without being exposed to air. With this procedure a type of carbon with a large surface and a large number of pores is created. Due to this big surface area, activated carbon is very suitable for binding all kinds of material to itself, as also unpleasant particles and substances within the water.

Silver, which coats the carbon, prevents the growth of bacteria. The amount of silver doesn't affect health or taste, as it is far less than the legally allowed quantities.

The softening of the water does not occur in a chemical manner. The ion exchanger does all this, whilst the most important minerals and trace elements will be kept.

150 to 180 liters of water can be filtered with one cartridge.
